Is the site Wheel Chair accessible?
Our event is held on an open grass field, which can be uneven in places, and although we will have some accessible trackway pathing, additional care should be taken. We also have an accessibility Ramp and viewing box (facing main stage), full disabled toilets, as well as limited disabled parking on site (for those with a blue badge). Please speak to a Marshall on the day for further help and advice. If you do have any special requirements email us at info@yorkpride.org.uk and we will do our best to assist.

Is the Parade Wheel Chair accessible?
The Parade follows the public highway (see the parade details above) therefore the route is relatively flat, we do go over a few cobbled streets but this is unavoidable on our Parade route.

Is the Event Autism Friendly?
York Pride will have a 'Quiet Hour' on the festival site from 11:30am before the parade arrives, where the site and stalls can be enjoyed without the crowds and noise, and a chill-zone is available at the Phoenix software stand for anyone needing an escape during the day.

Is the Event Family and Dog Friendly?
Yes, we welcome all families to our event and small fury members of the family are welcome as long as they are kept on a lead! Please clean up after your furry friends!
