Benenden, the York-based mutual health and wellbeing provider is continuing its association with York Pride by agreeing a fourth year of sponsorship..
Announcing the arrangement for 2016, Claire Hetherington, Community Relations Co-ordinator at Benenden said:
“Sponsorship of York Pride is very much a part of our annual community programme for York and we’re pleased to continue our involvement with the group.
At Benenden we share York Pride’s passion for celebrating diversity, and we value their ethos of equality and inclusion which matches our own.”
The financial support from Benenden will contribute to production and running costs associated with staging the largest FREE family friendly event in the city, helping to make York one of the friendliest places to be LGBT.
Many Benenden staff will be at the parade and festival in June, to celebrate Pride Day.
